Hello! How are you? I'm Chef Anderson Mendes. At 42, I decided to change the course of my professional career by moving to the USA with my family. I was born in Pernambuco, a state in the Brazilian Northeast known for its strong culture and cuisine, and home to a vast coastline where I grew up surrounded by the delights of the sea, which greatly influenced my gastronomic identity.
My story in gastronomy began in my grandparents' kitchen. I believe there is nothing more inspiring than heartfelt cooking. Almost all chefs started there. My story is linked to a passion for the flavors, colors, and aromas of moments lived with family, friends, clients, and the experiences accumulated in the professional kitchen.
Trained as a gastrologist and professional cook, I started my career working in several restaurants, but my previous professional experience in the commercial area led me to a broader understanding of gastronomy. The understanding that gastronomy happens anywhere, not just within the four walls of a restaurant.
Today, I dedicate myself to creating and presenting meaningful gastronomic experiences to my dear clients, their families, and friends.
